Depression has many faces. Sometimes it’s low mood, other times it’s deep despair, and still others it can be no feeling at all. Whatever it is for you, it’s this feeling of something not being quite right.
How I work with people who experience depression or emotions that feel uncomfortable is to get to know you and your life and when these feelings (or lack of feeling) come up. Often it is about beliefs - beliefs about yourself, other people, and the world. I have tools that we can use together to figure out how these beliefs are impacting your life and your mood so you can start to feel more in control of your life.
Depression doesn't have to be a constant presence in your life. There are treatments we can use to look at the underlying issues creating these difficult feelings so that your moods don't have to be so oppressive.
